Kappa Is for a Lifetime!
Since 1913, the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma has brought together Kappas of all ages and stages of life to welcome those who are new to Dallas, to celebrate and support one another, and to make a difference in our community.
Our Association provides opportunities for lifelong engagement, friendship, and service. We bring Kappas together in a spirit of mutual love and helpfulness, extending friendship to all members.
We invite all initiated Kappas to join us – Kappa truly is a sisterhood for life!
Our Mission
Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women committed to building lifelong friendships, supporting one another, encouraging personal growth, celebrating intellectual development, and living by positive ethical principles.
Kappa Activities
All of our events include a diverse group of women in age and interest.
Standing Meetings
Meetings are held generally monthly during the school year, typically on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Meetings include a light meal and an interesting, entertaining, or fun program with lively conversation.

AA Awards
Each year, Kappa Dallas recognizes outstanding member contributes with awards including:
Louise Barbeck Golden Key Award
Honors a Dallas Alumnae Association member who has played an ongoing leadership role in Kappa.
Fleur De Lis Award
Recognizes a member for her service to Kappa. Typically, this person has served behind the scenes.
Distinguished “Community Leader” Alumna Award
Honors a Dallas Alumnae Association member who service to the community has made an extraordinary impact.
Distinguished “Professional” Alumna Award
Created to recognize a Dallas member who excels in her profession and has made an extraordinary impact.
Robin Whitfield Brown Award
Recognizes outstanding leadership and service to the SMU Gamma Phi chapter over a period of time.
Young Alumna Award
Recognizes a Kappa alumna under 35 years old who has made significant contributions to the Dallas Alumnae Association.
